Weekend in London

Ok this is a long due post but the girls and I actually went down to London a few weeks ago for no apparent reason...

April & Yiling on the train..

Lisa brought us to her best mates' place to stay over,
that's Su in the middle and Mei on the right..

Both geniuses- Su has her LPC sponsored by Linklaters (one of the 'Magic Five Circle' of law- go google if you havent heard of it =p) and Mei's working with Bloomberg at the age of 23!

Aragon Towers:

You don't always get the chance to see high-rise buildings in London/ UK for all that matter & it's just good to stay in something like this for a change.. oh & the apartment is P-E-R-F-E-C-T !

It overlooks the Tower Bridge, London eye & Thames river !!!!
& She gets to watch fireworks during countdowns without having to squash herself among the crowds¬


When can we afford something like this? sigh...

After settling down we went over to ChinaTown for dinner..
Apparently roast duck's really famous over there...
Let me tell you this..

Yiling Wong, being the spaz as usual asked: Do we have to finish the whole cookie to gain fortune? -_-"
that was the same day I bumped into NY on the streets heh¬

Decided to head over to the city for a walk after breakfast the next day

Oh, did April mention she dyed her hair? You can see streaks of red in this picture..
Mrs Khor was so funny, April told her bout her new hair colour and Auntie was like : 'mou bei ngor tai' (Direct translation: Don't let me see...)

Mei was busy arguing with the shop manager cause the salesperson wouldn't sell superglue to her without her passport to prove her age... Yes you heard me, SUPERGLUE! Can you believe it? Absolutely Crazeh! Think we're gonna superglue ur country into destruction or something?

It took us almost TWO hours to look for this place ok!!!
In the end Mei had to google directions on her iphone to find it¬

Met up with NY it was just so good to see him again.. and Christina happened to coincidentally be in London as well ! So we had a round 2 birthday celebration for her..

Reached home at around 10-ish..
what better to do than watch feel-good-films?

We didn't actually do much in London despite spending 3 full days there.. Watched Benjamin Button at the O2 arena, shopped in Westfield and that's it.. Didn't get to watch Phantom of the Opera as planned cause Last Minute Tickets were too expensive.. the rest of the time was spent traveling on the tubes since Su's place's an hour away from the city centre =(

Speaking of the word 'Muah'.. Su officially won 2nd place in the spaz list when Lisa showed her a phone sms.. The person texted Lisa ending the msg with "love you, muah"
& Su went: "Who's muah?" ROFL
