Boating

Yeap, as the name suggests, we went boating last Saturday~

Didn't wanna go initially since it was such a good day...

to sleep in =)

but YiLing the dummy wanted so badly to get outta the house and thus plotted a very very very malicious plan ...




Not only did she snatch my duvet but also kept whining till I could sleep no more ...

*Me Not Happy* hrumphh !





She assured that I could nap in the car and boat- ermm yeah, I gave in after an hour of persuasion ...
Took us 45 mins to reach cause nobody knew the way & as usual, we got lost~

Didn't regret going out a bit~




Havent rowed a boat before and I guess kayaking doesn't count ? So we were all over the place when we started off ~

I was actually ramming the oars against the wall to push the boat away from it~ Girl Power!



Even the kids steered better than us!

By the way, two of em' fell into the river and the rest had to save them

No i didn't see it happen. We were making conversations when our boats went past each other =)

If ur wondering, we got the bread on the way to feed the ducks- but stupid ducks refused to eat them!! So pickyyy ! so we figured if the ducks see how tasty the food look in our mouths they would change their minds.......

okay fine! We were just hungry !

Ice skating

Too lazy to blog about April's birthday cause the celebration was spread out into FOUR days consecutively!! Been going out late nights and now April the 21 year old and I are both down with sore throat & fever =(

Went for ice- skating last month in Doncaster~



Since it was my first attempt at ice skating ever in my life... falling is inevitable right?


Rather than helping me up, Lisa dropped down & demanded pics instead o_O

April picked up pretty fast and went skating off alone in no time whilst Yiling and I *coughs* ... hung on to the railings like our lives depended on em'- which explains why our arm muscle ached the very next day~

Mastered the skill at the end of the day and could at least walk/ half- skate the whole rink after 2- 3 hours *beams*

Done quite a lot the past month but didn't quite have time to blog about them~ Will do it one by one slowly tho~ So stay tuned!

I am currently doing my Research Method's assignment..
It's based on Child Trafficking..
Reading all the reports can really make me cry..
and F***ing ANGRY!!!

Sad and Angry April

Cai Hong, I listened to my heart and am truly,madly,deeply in love with you!

I was really happy when I saw Cai Hong.

I was entertained by him and went along with him for a few times until Yiling got annoyed and pissed off with what I was doing and left us alone.

Then I followed the advice of Ding to 'play with your heart' during the time when we played badminton.

Hence, I told myself to 'listen to your heart' this time and just continued with what I was doing with Cai Hong

and was 'truly,madly, deeply' in love with what I was doing.

But then, Yiling really couldnt stand it and came back and gave me the 'look'.

So, I 'apologize' and said that it will be the last one.

But she was still annoyed and wanted to use her slipper to attack me.

Since 'apologize' is not accepted, so I continue singing 'Bleeding Love' with the karaoke version from youtube and annoyed the two!! hahahaha...

Day out

It's weird how so many locals keep saying that Leeds is such a big city,
but whenever we eat out we'll find ourselves confined with limited choices ~

In fact, we realised that there are many pretty decent restaurants hidden around~

Like this one called 'tran.... tranq...tranqilier/ tranqulier/ tranquilier??' Sigh~ the owner should really consider a more memorable name with an actual meaning...

Yummy supposingly Italian food with EXTRA LARGE portions!

This is Abid who actually brought us there ~ He's the 'supervisor/mentor' for our work- experience and believe me, he's the nicest person ever ! !

Abid has a tendency to pay for everyone's bill whenever he eats out with them, be it a pack of sandwich from Tesco or a 40-pound dinner like this time~

Not to mention he drives us home from work which is 40 mins away even when he's not obliged to do so =)

Went to watch Lisa strut her stuff at taekwondo after that, which was pretty cool ~

It's my turn to go for work this Wednesday!! Wish me luck !!

I'm back! with a tag!

RANDOM FACTS ABOUT ME!

1. I've been going to bed at 6-7 am in the morning when the sun rise and getting up at 3-4pm. What Im worried about is that I'm going to work on Friday and have to be up at 7am! My plan now is, should I tahan kau kau and skip one day of sleep or nap a few hours then wake up early or dont sleep and go to work.. I think I'll try to last as long as I can and not sleep for 1 day!

2. I gained dont-know-how-many-kilos-and-my-jeans-are-tighter-now!!! I so need to lose it or else I need to start shopping. and its depressing to see that I have to choose 1 size larger!!!

3. I want to complete my scuba diving course and sky dive when Im back in Malaysia!! Anybody want to come? but first, I have to get the green light from you know who...

4. I like to try everything that is new but at the same time really chicken at it! Like, bungee, sky diving, skiing, etc etc.. watching all these freaks me out! been watching it on youtube and there is already adrenaline rush by just WATCHING it!

5. I can never cook BUT I THINK I can cook now! muahaha! thanks to YiLing darling who decides what to eat everyday and when she wants it, she WANTS it :P hehe.. without her, Ding and I can just survive with bread,cereal,milk,yogurt...breakfast food for all meals! whatever is fast and easy :P

6. I took ballet when I was 8 and I WAS really flexible!!!!! I cant believe it myself now when I imagined how I used to split and all! Now, I have to try REALLY hard just to touch my toes while standing without bending my knees! Natali Abdullah! We did not achieve my goal to make me split in 2006! and I have to start all over again by myself!

7. We have two fish in our kitchen ,no not the fish that you eat. But the fish as a pet. We named it Lisa and Jeff. There were initially 6 of them. but 4 died within a day. I thought I saved it from the ex-owner but I think they were really sick already even before bringing them back. *sob* Ding and I was kinda sad but we were glad that we did not have much feelings towards it yet. They did not want to eat when we feed them. We were worried and tried everything we could just to make them eat. At out point, I wanted to take it out from the water and try to force the food into the mouth! of course I didnt do that. By the way, Yiling was eating Salmon in the kitchen, in front of them, when we were worried for the fish! They seem like they are about to go soon...


8. I miss the out going me. I'm not as chatty as I used to be. Dont know why...
