Spain reunion

On Mon after handing up our assignments we dashed straight to Morrisons cause the Spain gang we went travelling with are coming for dinner .

Our total purchase scaringly added up to a sum of 140 pounds o_O

This is the guy who inspired us to invite them over for dinner :

When he came over the other day he told us that he spends only 10 pounds for groceries a week!

WHY?? Cause he's lazy to cook and the only thing he eats are boil vegies~ And when I say boil.. I mean

PURE.

BOIL.

VEGE.

Not even with soy sauce!!!

He was telling us about how he would make us his father's famous HongKong style Egg custard:

His msn conversation with YiLing goes approx like this:

Ray : Do you guys own a 75 ml bowl?

YL: Ermm, no.. can't u just use other bowls instead?

Ray : No you can't, the measurement has to be just right

Ray: Do you have whole milk?

YL: We only have semi-skimmed... aiya... it'll do lah

Ray: Nonono, it's ok.. I'll bring mine over

O_o

Ray: Do you have a measuring cup and sieve?

YL: Err.. No

Ray: We need those, I'll bring everything over

O_O

10 minutes later....

Ray: I think I won't be able to do it~

YL: Why?

Ray: Cause I don't know how big's the fire of ur stove ...

*eyes bulging out & hanging halfway down our faces with disbelief at this point*

He proclaimed that everything MUST be perfect for it represents his father's renown~

Haha, but he eventually did succeed..

He did it bowl by bowl and even read the meniscus of the mixture at eye level !!
