Location: Barcelona
Date: 12.12.2007
Arrival: 10.05 am
We had to take a bus from the airport to get to the city which was about 2 hours journey.
On arrival, there was an information booth right in front of the bus. One won't get lost with the info booth which is located almost everywhere. Money well spend by the city council. They speak good english and maps are provided.
We took metro and arrived at Barceloneta station. Then, had to walked another 500meters to Sea Point, our roof for the next 4 nights. Took about an hour and a half to freshen up and left the place at 3.30pm.
First meal in Spain: Salat buffet in Fresco at 4 pm for €8.50. It was ok. Daphne and Dove enjoyed. We search high and low for food because we were starving. We had Fresco because the German guy that we met in London said it was nice.
First destination: La Rambla - is the most popular streets in barcelona. There were a lot of Germans on that day because there was a football game. They had a Stuggart scarf over their neck. We spent HOURS to find for a good forex and still did not change any euro at the end of the day. We werent satisfy with the exchange rate.
Highlight of the day: Watched Flamenco at La Rambla.

It was very interesting. She did not smile at all through out the dance and looking very angry as though someone had owe her money and his
Went back after the show as we were very tired and wanted to have enough rest for the next day!
