Alarm rang.
the-most-annoying-ringing-tone-that-one-can-have-in-their-phone
Somebody
heard it.
BUT
NOBODY
woke up.
I immediately jumped out from my double decker bed and woke the other 2 ladies up when I saw the time 9.45am! Breakfast ends at 10am! We were really fast that we manage to rush for the breakfast. Luckily we did not miss the breakfast because it was amazingly good! It was just the normal toast bread, coffee, creal, milk and fruits. But with the company of the bright sun and sandy beach, our moods were up high and everything tasted good!

Left at 11am
Destination 1: Parc Ciutadella

Distance: 1.5 Km
Mode of transportation: By foot

Sun and Green
Destination 2: Sagrada Familia
Distance from Cuitadella: 1.8 Km
Walked along Marina Street while munching on the muffins that we took from breakfast and admiring lots of typical tiny balconies that almost every building has.
We walked
and
walked
and
walked...
Finally...
Sagrada Familia!
It is massive and one cannot understand Gaudi's art. I would say it is very unique and impressive.

Paid €5 to enter. The interior wasnt that impressive and it was under construction.

Left the place at 3pm after calling Elena to meet her that evening who is Roberto's friend from Spain. The phone call was tough. She has limited English and we couldnt speak Spanish. It took us about 5 minutes just to confirm that we were going to meet at 5.30pm at 44 Marina.
Destination 3: Parc Güell
Distance from Sagrada: 2.3 Km
It seemed that our legs were failing on us. Each step that we took seems heavier.
It's because we were really tired and its uphill!
Arrived after an hour later.
It's another art work from Gaudi.
We had a panaroma view from Parc Güell. Sadly, the photos werent that nice.
Sagrada stood out from the rest of the buildings.

The famous ugly lizard.Ding didnt like it.
We were reluctant to snap a photo with it.
Out of formality,
we did it.

Left at 5.10pm.
This time, we took the bus.
Back to Sagrada.
Because Sagrada is on Marina Street.
BUT
WHAT WE DIDNT KNOW WAS
Sagrada is located at no. 280 Marina St. and meeting point with Elena is no. 44 Marina St!
So, we had to walked another 30minutes.
We were 30minutes late.
She is really friendly. We manage to communicate with our limited vocabulary.

Highlight of the day: Ding's camera got stolen by a snatch thief!
She was robbed!
Force + theft = robbery!
Ding was holding the camera on the hand while it was strapped to her wrist.
That thief just snatched it from behind and ran off FAST!
Elena started chasing.
We ran together. But we decided not to chase because nothing is more valuable than safety and I was afraid that it might be a trap and a clan is waiting for us somewhere.

The last photo she took before it got stolen.
You must be wondering how we managed to get this photo.
2 minutes later, there was an old man in a scooter drove up to us and handed Ding back her camera! We were so grateful that we don't know how to express it!
He chased the bugger for us!
We were traumatised.
Had dinner at La Rambla.
2 dishes: meatlof and fisherman noodle(tasted like bihun goreng)
Head back to Sea Point after dinner.
Total distance walked: At least 7.5Km
